Swift Creek PLT Update

Check our website periodically for updates on what our Professional Learning Teams are doing. Our PLT design has grade level PLTs meeting the first two Wednesdays of each month to review data from assessments and to collaborate on best practices for teaching and learning. The third Wednesday is when the PLTs discuss individual students who are struggling, put interventions in place and monitor those interventions. The fourth Wednesday is for collaboration among the grade levels and the support personnel assigned to their Cougar Time. The purpose of this collaboration is to answer “How are we going to help those students who have not met the benchmarks?” and “How are we going to enrich those students who have met the benchmarks?” Beginning October 5, Cougar Time occurs for all students on specified days. K-2 students have Cougar Time on Mondays and Tuesdays from 3:00-3:40 and 3-5 students have it on Thursdays and Fridays from 3:00-3:40.

Before & After School Programs
