Questions about Transportation?

You can reach the Broughton Transportation office which handles the Swift Creek routes at 919-856-7182 

In addition to calling Broughton Transportation, parents may continue to contact transportation by filling out an online feedback form, or emailing transportation@wcpss.net with the school name, student's route number (indicate morning or afternoon), bus stop, student's first and last name and parent's daytime contact information.

To request a new stop, parents may continue to use our current stop request form.

Swift Creek PLT Update

Check our website periodically for updates on what our Professional Learning Teams are doing. Our PLT design has grade level PLTs meeting the every Wednesdays to review data from assessments and to collaborate on best practices for teaching and learning. The third Wednesday of the month is when the PLTs discuss individual students who are struggling, put interventions in place and monitor those interventions. The purpose of this collaboration is to answer “How are we going to help those students who have not met the benchmarks?” and “How are we going to enrich those students who have met the benchmarks?”

A Daily Rate Before/After School and Early Release-Only After School Program are available this year. The Daily Rate Program cost includes fees for predetermined days selected by the parent(s). The Early Release Program cost includes the six Early Release days for the 2011-12 school calendar. Click here for the forms.
