New Assistant Principal Named for Swift Creek!
On June 16th, the school board approved Rossi Wade as the assistant principal at Swift Creek. Her start date is August 1. Rossi received her Bachelor of Arts from Winston Salem State University with certification in Special Education and received a Master's in School Administration from North Carolina Central University. Rossi worked as a special education teacher at Weatherstone Elementary for five years, then did a one year Administrative Internship at Githens Middle School in Durham and is a CCR teacher at Middle Creek Elementary this year. She was presented an Honor a Teacher Award by the Cary Chamber of Commerce in 2004 and was the Teacher of Year at Weatherstone in 2006-07.

She has served on the Leadership Team and PBS committee as well as focused on data-driven instruction. We welcome Rossi to the staff.
